January 2007 Newsletter- Greetings From the Hag up North

Greetings From The Hag Up North!

.

I thought for a change I would just write a short note and instead, send some pictures along of what it is like in my part of the world. You may think Southwestern Manitoba is all flat prairie land but it isn’t.
There are lots of valleys and nice rolling hills and the weather is actually fairly nice. Yes, the winters can get cold and we do get some snow, but when it is cold, the sun usually shines and makes all the difference in the world!

I have lived across the entire country and each province has its own charm. Of course, we would all love the “picture perfect” weather destination but we also know, the grass is NOT always greener on the other side.
Therefore, we take what we can get and do what we can to make our lives more enjoyable.

For now we say goodbye to a year that we think could have been better and hope that the coming New Year will be better.

Wishing you all a wonderful New Year filled with happiness, good health and a sense of peace….

Babs and Ian Hamilton
