| State, County, Nearest Town | Shannon County, Town of Eminence |
| Terrain | Located in the beautiful Ozark Mountains of Missouri. Some flat areas mostly hilly with gradual climbing to the top of the mountains |
| Trails | Most trails are wide old logging trails for anyone to ride. There are smaller offshoot trails that are very steep narrow and Rocky for the more adventurous. Your horse must have shoes as it can get quite rocky. The Current and Jack Fork rivers are beautiful and fun to cross. Beautiful lookouts way up on the top of the mountains to look down and see camp and beautiful scenery. |
| Facilities | The price for a week of camping and riding is $205.00 per adult person, this includes 3 meals a day, camping, and most sites have water and electric hook-ups. There are bathrooms and shower buildings, as well as a laundry facility I believe. Firewood is furnished, you have to go up front and pick it up, there are not fire pits per say but each site is allowed to have a campfire on their site. All horses must be kept in stalls, stalls are $15.00 per stall per week, and the stalls are normally pretty close to your campsite. The stalls are nothing fancy by no means, they are covered and small but our horses did fine in them. |
| What I liked most . . . | Beautiful scenery and riding and spending time away with the horses and a good friend. Also not having to cook for a week. They have a tack sale and horse shows going on in the huge indoor arena. Entertainment at night at the band shelter is fun to listen to the music, dance and meet fellow campers/riders. You can ride in and use the large indoor arena as long as there are no shows etc. going on at the time. There is also a large tack/western shop on the grounds. |
| What I liked least . . . | The food was fine, it is served buffet style, but after a week it kind of seems very repetitive. There are ALOT of gaited horses there and some riders, not all, are not very courteous when coming up behind the non gaited horses. The weather was very hot in May when we went last year, and when it rains it can flood very quickly in the camping area. |
